Group Hike | Beehive Basin Trail

1:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Beehive Basin boasts some of the most breathtaking views in Big Sky. This 6.6 mile round trip hike slopes up moderately with an elevation gain of 1,500 feet giving views of wildflowers and Lone Peak along the way. The payoff is Beehive Basin, a bowl-shaped glacial cirque with a crystal clear lake that overlooks Lone Peak. It’s best to take your time on this hike. Welcome Party | Music In The Mountains

6:00 pm - 10:00 pm

For years Music in the Mountains has been Montana’s finest free outdoor concert series, featuring the best up-and-coming touring musicians in the country as well as established, well-known artists. The venue at Center Stage at Town Center Park provides the perfect backdrop to come together and enjoy incredible live music under the Big Sky. The fest features a variety of food trucks that also have beer & cocktails.

The Big Sky Wedding Tour

12:30 pm - 4:00 pm

Big Sky is a photography dream come true. With its stunning mountain vistas, crystal-clear lakes, and lush forests, there's no shortage of beautiful backdrops. Our Wedding Day is a travelling affair. We'll load up on busses from The View and ride to 3-4 various locations for a waterfall walk, scenic vistas, a ceremony by the river, then a roadhouse happy hour. We'll all be travelling together with expert local photographer David Clumpner who will capture the magic of the day.

The Ceremony

4:00 pm - 4:30 pm

We'll exchange vows by the waters of the Gallatin River, a picturesque waterway that embodies the wild spirit of Montana, with the grandeur of the mountains as our backdrop. It'll be our moment to say "I do" surrounded by nature's beauty and the love of our friends and family.

Cocktail Hour at The Riverhouse

5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

The Riverhouse is located along the banks of the Gallatin River and serves up Texas barbecue, Montana style. It's one of our favorite hangouts in Big Sky, and a wonderful part of our story. We'll lift a glass and celebrate together with a great view of the Spanish Peaks. Cocktail Hour will be on us for its duration. We'll also pick up our catering order, then saddle up to have everyone back to our place for dinner.

Dinner with a View

6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Dinner will be at our house, which is appropriately named The View. We'll be serving a big BBQ buffet with plenty of sides, sitting together casually, enjoying the best of everything. From Riverhouse BBQ: "Our barbecue is prepared with our house-made dry rub, a special blend of spices and seasonings, then slow smoked over hand-cut mesquite wood."

Dessert & Interlude

8:00 pm - 9:00 pm

We'll leave you with dessert, coffee and cocktails while we slip out to get pictures in the sunset alpenglow. Enjoy each other's company and we'll be back soon to officially kickoff the Reception. Please remain in Wedding Attire.

Late Night Bites

11:00 pm

A little something to keep the party going! We'll have a late spread of pizzas, snacks, and whatever else we can find to fuel the late-night shenanigans.

Saturday Night Honky Tonk

6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

We'll meet you at a local roadhouse-style watering hole, Tips Up in Big Sky. It's a casual spot with communal tables, food and live music. We spent a wonderful couple of hours there last time - it's definitely our kind of place. We'll provide apps to get the night started; drinks will be available for purchase. From Tips Up Big Sky: "Located in the heart of Big Sky's Town Center, Tips Up is where locals and visitors alike gather for quite simply - a good time. In addition to featuring a lively entertainment schedule, come enjoy a game of shuffleboard, cornhole, arcade games, and a casino - Yes, casino games. Here at Tips Up, we also value the art of the fried chicken sandwich. Oh, and cold beer. Plenty of cold beer. When you're down for a good time, Tips Up is Big Sky's place to be."
