Flight
Flight to Ireland
You have the choice of flying into either Dublin International Airport (DUB) or Shannon Airport (SNN) to reach us. While Shannon Airport is more proximate to our wedding venue, it is relatively smaller and offers fewer flight selections. Although we recommend considering Aer Lingus for your flight, you are at liberty to opt for any international airline that aligns with your preferences.
Rental Car
Dublin Airport Rental Car
Dublin Airport provides a variety of rental car choices for your convenience. A friendly reminder: in Ireland, driving is on the left-hand side of the road. Many Irish vehicles have manual transmissions, so, unless you're keen on shifting gears with your left hand, we recommend reserving an automatic car. If you plan on spending time in Dublin first, we'd recommend renting a car at the end of your stay. Finding parking in the city center can be difficult.
Train
Dublin Airport Public Transport
For traveling to Galway, direct buses depart every hour (Gobus / Citylink). These depart from Terminal 1, a 3-minute walk from the international terminal (Terminal 2). The destination you'll want to use is Galway Coach Station. If you arrive at Dublin airport and want to head into the city, we'd recommend using Free Now/Uber. It will save you waiting an hour for a taxi. From there, a similar selection of buses and trains are available.
Rental Car
Ride Share Apps
Ireland does not have Lyft, and Uber is confined to Dublin and its surrounding areas. However, the taxi services work similarly; download the Free Now app to order and pay for taxis. If you arrive into Dublin airport and want to head into the city, we'd recommend using Free Now/Uber. It will save you waiting an hour for a taxi.

For getting to and from Galway, there are a couple of bus options - Bus Eireann and Expressway. They offer direct options between the locations, so look out for those options to minimize travel time. In Galway, the dropoff location to use is "Galway Bus Station" or "Eyre Square"
