Where will the wedding ceremony and reception be held?

Answer

We will have both our ceremony and reception at the Connemara Coast Hotel. There will be a short break between the ceremony and reception where drinks and hors d'oeuvres will be served.

Is there a dress code for the wedding?

Answer

For US guests, think cocktail attire; Irish guests, your finest wedding outfit. Please dress according to the weather.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There is free parking for all wedding guests at The Connemara Coast Hotel. Please look for signs for "Wedding Guest Parking".

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes. Please let your server know when you order dinner at the reception and they will be able to accommodate you. The menu will have typical food allergies noted for your convenience.

What are the travel restrictions on going to Ireland?

Answer

If you're a U.S. citizen traveling to Ireland, you'll require a valid passport, which remains valid until after the completion of your scheduled trip. We'd recommend checking your passport expiry date early. As of right now, you won't require a visa for either tourist or business stays provided their duration is less than three months. Similarly, no COVID restrictions or requirements are currently in place.

What electrical plugs should I bring?

Answer

Please note that electrical plugs and voltage in Ireland differ from those in the US. To ensure your electrical devices work, be sure to have a converter/plug adapter for the UK/Ireland (Plug Type G) on hand (and be careful to avoid any unexpected fuse-related mishaps!).

What if I forgot something at home or need something last minute?

Answer

There are many shops in Ireland and Galway. Dunnes Store is similar to Target and a great place to pick up forgotten or last minute items!
