We will be staying at the Goodland Hotel and highly encourage you join us! We have set aside rooms as a discounted group rate at the Goodland. Please click "View" below to book your reservations through our room block. You can also call 1-800-KIMPTON and request the Michael/Munson Wedding Block group rate. While the link only gives you the option of booking Friday and Saturday night, the group rate can be extended up to 3 days before or after the event. If you would like to arrive early or extend your stay, please book using the link or phone number and then contact Hunter Jones at 805-967-4264 or hunter.jones@thegoodland.com to book any additional days at the same rate.

Just 15 minutes north of the Goodland, el Capitan Canyon resort offers an assortment of cabins and glamping tents perfect for families or anyone who wants to comfortably enjoy the Santa Barbara wilderness.

There are great Airbnb options all over Santa Barbara. We recommend searching near Goleta so that you are close to the party.

Flight

Santa Barbara Airport

SBA has direct flights to Dallas (American Airlines), Denver (United Airlines), Phoenix (American Airlines), Portland (Alaska Airlines), San Francisco (United Airlines), and Seattle (Alaska Airlines), and connecting flights to just about everywhere else. The drive from LAX takes about 2 hours (and is a beautiful drive!), but for those who want to avoid renting a car or driving, SBA is a great option.

Train

Pacific Surfliner

The Pacific Surfliner Train is an affordable, scenic way to get to Santa Barbara from Los Angeles, even if you are local. Take it from Union Station or Burbank Airport all the way to Goleta. From LAX, you can take the FlyAway bus to Union Station for $10. If you fly into Burbank Airport (Alaska, American, Delta, JetBlue, Southwest and United all fly to Burbank) the train station is across the street and an easy walk.

Flight

LAX

Flying into LAX will likely provide the most flexible flight options for most people. If you fly into LAX, you can either rent a car or take a train up to Santa Barbara (see "Pacific Surfliner" above). Please let us know if/when you plan to fly in and we can also help arrange a carpool with other guests.
