From our first Summer vacation together in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina after Dima had moved to North Carolina in 08/2011.

Our very first hike together in 2011 at Yosemite National Park in California: lots of happiness together and the amazing scenery compensated for a total lack of preparation and appropriate gear 😂💞

During our first 3 year stint of long distance, (when Emily lived in CA and IL, and Dima lived in NC), we loved exploring the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, when Emily would visit Dima!

One of our first hiking trips together, back in 2012 - Seeing the Grand Canyon for the first time was one of our inspirations for exploring more and more beautiful parks!

Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in Michigan is a stunningly beautiful place - we loved exploring that part of the country while living in Chicago!

Great to explore the South Florida parks in the winter - less hot, no bugs, and more wildlife than we've seen in our whole lives!

What a trip this was - lots to celebrate after Emily just graduated with her DPT, and Dima just won the job with the Colorado Symphony! Striking volcanic features, and amazing views anywhere you look!

Seeing 225 million-year old fossilized trees at Petrified Forest National Park is a peculiar experience: you think you're looking at a wooden tree trunk when you realize... it's actually stone!!

Zion National Park in Utah is magical in the Winter - and no crowds: we had the place to ourselves!

Great to explore the Parks in our new home state of Colorado - the Black Canyon of the Gunnison has some of the most incredible scenery anywhere!

Over the past 2 years we've taken up snowshoeing as our winter sport! It certainly is a good workout!

While living in CO we've enjoyed traveling to Utah and visiting Arches, Capitol Reef and incredible Canyonlands National Parks! This picture is from Gooseberry Canyon in Canyonlands, 11/2021.

Fall in CO is very colorful! Rocky Mountain National Park is about 90 minutes away and we're so thankful to be able to explore this beautiful place together any time of the year!
