Maid of Honor
Haley has been my girl since day 2; we were born in the same hospital a day apart and have been friends ever since. Although we have been separated by rival schools in college, we have continued to visit each other, stay in touch, and love each other well throughout it all. Haley is thoughtful and helps center our relationship around the Lord, consistently asking for my prayer requests. She is such a joy to be around, matches my silliness, and is someone I can trust fully with my heart. Each time we get together it's like we've never been apart. Haley will be graduating from UGA this May and working at Georgia Pacific in Atlanta in Managerial Accounting this fall. I am so excited to have her stand by me on my wedding day as my maid of honor!
Best Man
Casey is my big bro that I have always looked up to and wanted to be like growing up! Of course, we couldn't stand each other when we were young, but when I was a freshman in high school and Casey was a senior we got to play on the high school soccer team together. We grew deeply in friendship and care for one another and I will forever be thankful for that year together. Casey is an incredibly hard worker, and has a fun-loving spirit that makes him a thrill to be around. He brings joy to everyone that has the privilege of knowing him and has a deep care for others. I feel honored to have him by my side as my best man on this special day!
Bridesmaid
My roommate of two years now, Madeline was one of my first friends in Alpha Gam when I arrived at Georgia Tech. We immediately found similarities in our roots in the Lord, strong work ethics, and common interests. Madeline is so clearly a servant and is always looking to go out of her way to show that you matter to her. She has done my laundry when I've been stressed, brought me lunch when I needed it, and even put the sheets on my bed before I arrived at school. We've done day trips to Chicago, visits to Boston, and our time has even overflowed to being in senior design together. Madeline is so much a part of my daily life I can't imagine her not being right beside me on my wedding day. I am so excited to have her there as my bridesmaid!
Groomsman
I had the privilege of meeting Drew a little while into Emily and I dating after hearing how much Emily adores him. When I met him, I could see why with a huge heart for others, a thoughtful consideration of life and Jesus, and a measured voice in any conversation. Also, he is a stud golfer and now one of my fraternity brothers. It has been a joy to watch Drew grow as a student during his first year at Tech, in his relationship with his friends, and most importantly his relationship with Jesus! I can't wait to continue to grow together in our friendship and I am honored to have him by my side on this special day.
Bridesmaid
I met Rachel when I joined Alpha Gam, but we didn't become close friends until we started running together the fall of my third year. Rachel is such a light for the Lord in the way that she loves others and makes them feel welcomed and included. She is intentional in her relationships and in spreading the Lord's love and Word. As someone who does not get stressed, she is also a great balance and encouragement for me in times that I am overwhelmed. Although it began with running, our friendship has developed into someone I love to talk about the Lord with and have spontaneous adventures with! I am so excited to have her stand by me on my wedding day as my bridesmaid!
Groomsman
Sam was one of my first friends in high school and one of the first guys I discipled back in high school. Watching him grow in his faith from a guy I discipled, trying to figure out what it looks like to truly follow Jesus, to a man of God who now helps teach me what that looks like, has been one of the greatest joys of my life. Sam is graduating in May 2020 from Samford University and will then be attending Seminary shortly after to continue on his path towards shepherding a future flock of God! Sam is a total goof, an incredible barista, and an aspiring soccer goalie so he can be like his fianceee Grace, who he will be marrying later in August of this year! I am honored to have him standing by my side on this special day.
Bridesmaid
I have known Molly since second grade and she has remained one of my closest friends since then. With Molly, it is easy to transition from light-hearted thoughts to extremely serious ones-something that I love about our friendship. Molly is sincere and honest with all that she meets, a very real and raw personality that is rare these days. She allows her life to be seen as the beautiful weaving of God's work in her life and is an encouragement to those around her. It has been an honor to watch her grow and change as well as grow and change together throughout the years. Molly graduated from UGA a year early and has been working for Boy with a Ball. This past November Molly married Josiah Johnson. I am so excited to have her stand by me as my bridesmaid!
Groomsman
Andy was the second guy I met at Georgia Tech, living two doors down from me with Jore our freshman year. He quickly became one of my dearest friends as we joined Theta Xi together in Fall of 2016. From playing intramural soccer together to adult league soccer, to helping pour into each other's faith, Andy has always had my back at Georgia Tech. He is the only other faithful Killers fan in Theta Xi and we've enjoyed going to concerts together in college (ask us about Asheville). He is a fellow connoisseur of board games, beer, and coffee and is always making me laugh with an unmatchable wit. Andy will also be getting married this year in October to his lovely fiancee Anna! I am honored to have him by my side on this special day.
Bridesmaid
Maddie and I immediately connected when I joined Alpha Gam at Georgia Tech. Soon after, she became my big sister in my sorority. I was lucky enough to travel with her across Europe, from Barcelona to Copenhagen, when we studied abroad together the summer after my freshman year. Maddie is intentional in her relationships, continuously making time for those in her life. She is bubbly and silly (our humor is very similar) but also thoughtful and definitely a life learner. Maddie works hard to go above and beyond expectations, which has paid off now that she has graduated this past December and is moving to Washington, D.C. to work as a software engineer. I am so excited to have her standing by my side at the wedding as my bridesmaid!
Groomsman
Pierce lived with me, Andy, and Jore on west campus during our freshman year and was in our Fall 16 pledge class! Pierce is a dear friend who challenges me in some amazing ways in my faith. He is quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry, three things that I'm NOT the best at. He has been a spiritual leader at Theta Xi and an example to me of humility. We can be found many times playing Fifa together, touring breweries around Atlanta, or playing cards and board games. He is also a big Spurs fan, which has been a tough aspect of our relationship with how many times they have beaten my boys at Manchester City, but makes for great fun watching games together and bantering back and forth. I am honored to have Pierce standing by my side on this special day.
Bridesmaid
Jess is David's older sister who lives in Nairobi, Kenya with her husband Taylor and daughter Lyla. Jess and Taylor are missionaries in Kenya and such an obvious answer to God's calling to spread the Gospel to the unreached. Jess is so kind and welcoming to everyone she meets, and I was honored to have the chance to spend time with her in Orlando last summer when she was able to be here for the engagement as well. She is so grounded in her faith and her heart so clearly reaches out to help others in need. I am excited to continue to grow our relationship as I become her sister! I am honored to have her stand by me at the wedding as my bridesmaid!
Groomsman
I have known Daniel since high school and had the amazing opportunity to go to Tech together and be a part of the same pledge class at Theta Xi. Running into him the first night of rush after us deciding not to join a fraternity is a great memory. Daniel is a deeply caring person to both his friends and his family. I admire this love for others he has as well as how hardworking he is. He is also a total goob and can make everybody in a room laugh. Daniel has a strong faith and a strong desire to make disciples who make disciples. He is currently helping me lead the youth ministry at The Midtown Bridge and has been a great encouragement to me in that area! He is most well known for his hit single "Mustang Football is Hard". I am honored to have him standing by my side on this special day.
Bridesmaid
Cat is David's younger sister, and I have had the pleasure of getting to know her during spurts of breaks when she is home from college. Cat will be graduating from Liberty University in Elementary Education a year early this upcoming May, and is spending this semester student teaching in Nairobi, Kenya. I have loved learning more about Cat's heart, which is so clearly centered around the Lord. Her joy is contagious and she is so clearly an uplifting member of her family and all those who interact with her. I am so excited for Cat to not only be standing by my side at the wedding as my bridesmaid but also to become her sister!
Groomsman
This dude is the FIRST person I met at Georgia Tech! I knew immediately we were going to be great friends with his passion for soccer and the Lord. Jore is an incredible leader and influencer of people and has used his gifts to reach out and care for many on Tech's campus. His energy is special and makes it so much fun to be with him. Jore is always out on the dance floor with me at fraternity events and knows how to get the crowd going. But way beyond that, he has a sensitive heart and a love for others that comes from Jesus. Although he is a Manchester United fan, we've found a way to continue to be close friends. I am honored to have him standing by my side on this special day.
Bridesmaid
Georgia, one of my older cousins, graduated from FSU and works in Jacksonville, FL at Deutsche Bank. Some of my earliest memories with her include playing Nancy Drew computer games (sometimes all night long) and pranking Hudson and Drew (her and my brother, respectively). Just as our pranks developed from Lincoln Logs in their pillows to stealing their underwear, our relationship has developed as well over the years. Georgia is witty in a way that makes everyone laugh (and impressed!). She's always down for intellectual conversations and just girl talk. Whether it be driving me to the airport at midnight or trying new face masks, Georgia is alway down for an adventure and is fun to be around. I am so excited for her to stand by me as my bridesmaid!
Groomsman
Tyler has been one of my best friends since high school. We were in the same discipleship group together my junior and senior year of high school. During these years we spent almost every night at one or the other's house! Tyler is the only person I've known who can top me in energy and passion, and I love this about him. It contributes to success in so many areas of his life, especially his passion for the gospel! We have had some of the craziest, most stupid adventures together that I will forever hold dear in my memory. Above all he played a crucial role in pushing me to fall more deeply in love with Jesus during my time in high school and beyond. I'm honored to have him standing by my side on this special day.
