For everyone's convenience, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will take place at the same location: Breaux Vineyards. It is a charming winery located in Purcellville, VA, close to Harper's Ferry.
Time waits for no one, unless you're the bride! Therefore, if you are not taking the complementary shuttle from either of the two hotels, please plan to arrive no later than 4:50pm to allow enough time to walk from the parking lot to the ceremony area and find a seat.
The dress code is semi-formal. Men may wear suites and women are encouraged to wear midi or floor-length dresses.
In mid-October, the weather is usually gorgeous and temperatures can range from low-50s to high-70s. Assuming there is no rain or heavy winds, the ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outside. Therefore, women may want to bring a light jacket or shawl. The reception and dancing will be inside. According to Danny, the Floridians will likely be cold so dress accordingly!
Invitations have been sent and your RSVP was due on Sunday, September 1. If we do not hear from you by September 1, we assumed you could not make it and did not include you in the final headcount. Further, if you RSVPd "No", but then show up, you will need to bring your own food and chair as our headcount has been submitted to the caterers.
The couple will be staying at Home2 Suites both nights!
To allow all wedding guests, including parents, a night of relaxation and uninhibited revelry, we respectfully ask that no children attend our celebrations. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
We will have an open bar at our reception! You bring the fun, we provide the drinks! However, you will need to purchase drinks at our informal welcome event (Water's End).
