Iowa State University Campus
Both of us were attending Iowa State University when we met. It is a beautiful campus at any time of year and an amazing place for a walk at any time of day. We especially enjoy night walks around Lake Laverne. We definitely recommend you take a look while you're in town if you've never been! There is street parking on Lincoln way across the street from the campus. There is also free parking on campus in most lots on the weekends.
Carroll Marty Disc Golf Course
One of our favorite things to do together is go disc golfing. If this is something you also enjoy, we recommend you check out one of our favorite courses! It is fun to go at any time of year and for any age group!
Jethro's BBQ Ames
This is one of our favorite restaurants! We love their meat and everything we have tried has been delicious!
Brick City Grill
We went here on our first official date on March 14th, 2021! It is still one of our favorite places to go for excellent burgers.
Perfect Games
Perfect Games is one of our repeat date locations. It is an excellent place for both couples and families, with bowling, pizza, laser tag, and mini golf!
