What is the order of events?

Answer

BUS PICKUP AT MARRIOTT: 3:00PM CEREMONY: 4:30PM - 5:00PM COCKTAIL HOUR: 5:00PM - 6:00PM DINNER: 6:00PM - 7:30PM DANCING: 7:30PM - 10:30PM TRANSPORTATION: 9:30PM, 10:00PM, 10:30PM

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you, so get ready to celebrate!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We’d love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Dress code is formal attire. Ladies can wear floor length, tea-length or midi formal dresses. Gentlemen should be in a suit and tie or tuxedo. No jeans please!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of immediate family. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night (or weekend)!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you receive a plus one, they will be listed under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors overlooking Lake Travis. We will then move indoors for the reception and dancing. The outdoor bar/cocktail area will be open all night to hangout and take a breather.

How can we get to and from the wedding?

Answer

We will have shuttles that will leave from the hotel at 3pm. Shuttles will leave the venue to head back to the hotel at 9:30pm, 10pm and 10:30pm. Since most guests will be coming from out of town, we want to ensure no one has to think about transportation. We will be providing it! However, should you wish to drive to the venue, there is a parking lot. Be prepared, it is very windy roads in the hills.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please specify on your RSVP if you have a food allergy and/or are vegan. The main meal will be Texas BBQ. YUM!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We are currently working on a block at the Courtyard by Marriott Downtown and the Fairmont Downtown. If you’d like to stay somewhere else, I suggest choosing a hotel where you can get to the Marriott easily as this is where all the transportation will be picking up and dropping off.

What color should I wear?

Answer

November weather is quite wonderful in Texas. Feel free to wear some color! Fall is JUST beginning to start around this time. Though it may be obvious, please steer away from whites and ivory.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive at the venue NO later than 15 minutes before the ceremony. If you arrive after the start of the ceremony, you will not be able to be seated and will have to wait until the start of cocktail hour to enter.
