I don't want to clash with the bridal party! What colors should I avoid?

Answer

Bridesmaids will wear sage and seaglass dresses from Birdie Grey, while groomsmen will wear black suits and matching sage/mint green ties.

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire - But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it loose! Nights may be chilly, so please bring something to keep warm!

How will the weather be?

Answer

Generally, the weather in June in Vermont can be warm during the day and chilly in the evening. The ceremony will be outside and the reception will be inside a temperature controlled space. We suggest bringing a light jacket or covering.

Is there a shuttle to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, if you are staying at the Bolton Valley Inn.

There is a large parking lot across the road from the venue.

Food and Drinks?

Answer

There will be a cocktail hour following the ceremony with a few snacks. An open bar will be available following the ceremony featuring standard liquors and a variety of beers and wines. Plated dinner will be served shortly after based on your RSVP chosen dish.

Is the ceremony and reception at the same place?

Answer

Yes! They are steps away from each other so no travel necessary.

I have a food allergy. What do I do?

Answer

There is a section in your RSVP that will ask about food allergies. Please indicate any concerns there. We will review these and contact you directly if there is an issue. Cocktail hour foods will be labeled for your reference.
