In 2016, through mutual friends, we met each other at UVM, where Emily went to college. The next time Cody visited, we made a point to get together and we continued talking over the phone and facetime for the next three years, while we both were in college in different states. We visited each other when we could. These years were truly the hardest time for us, as we had gotten so close, yet distance kept us apart. But love prevailed! When Cody graduated in 2019, we were FINALLY able to live in the same place at the same time and our love continued to grow. After Emily's graduation in 2020, we moved in together. And, in 2021, we bought our first home together. Nearly a year afterwards, Cody popped the question at the top of our favorite hiking trail nearby. So incredibly happy to celebrate the next chapter of our love story with you!
