Things To Do in ABQ
Sawmill Market
Clark and I visited Sawmill Market soon after we moved to Albuquerque and really enjoyed it! It is sort of like a trendy European-style indoor/outdoor food hall with a bunch of different counter-service restaurants to choose from. Here you'll find Greek, Mexican, Italian, and Asian food all in one place. And it is right across the street from Hotel Albuquerque!
Old Town Albuquerque
Clark and I visited Old Town on our first trip to ABQ and have since gone back several times. It is basically the historical district in Albuquerque, containing cute shops, local authentic New Mexican restaurants, an official "Breaking Bad" store/museum, and souvenir stores. Definitely worth a visit, and it is right next to Hotel Albuquerque!
ABQ BioPark - Botanic Garden
The ABQ Botanic Gardens are worth a visit for anyone who loves flowers and natural (and manicured) beauty. The gardens are just about a six minute drive from Hotel Albuquerque.
ABQ BioPark Zoo
We went to the ABQ Biopark Zoo not too long ago and found it to be a nice date. Do bring water and sunscreen though! (but that goes for most outdoor activities in New Mexico).
Sandia Peak Tramway
Clark and I rode the tram up to the top of the Sandia Mountains on our first trip to Albuquerque. Be sure to purchase tickets ahead of time and reserve a table at the TEN 3 restaurant on top of the mountain!
