The White House
Walk out the front of The Willard and turn right! The White House is right next door.
National Mall
0.5 mile from the Willard Hotel. The Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, Lincoln Reflecting Pool and WWII Memorial are all in this location.
National Gallery of Art
0.8 mile walk from The Willard. The art gallery is free to enter. They have a very expansive property with much to see. They are home to the only original Da Vinci in the Western Hemisphere. This is also where we took our engagement photos!
Smithsonian National Museum
There are several Smithsonian Museums in this area to choose from. Most are 0.6 - 1 mile from The Willard. These museums are free to enter, with the exception of the Spy Museum.
Georgetown Shopping

Five Iron Golf
0.5 miles from The Willard. Do you love golf as much as we do? Does the thought of not playing on a weekend scare you? Five Iron Golf is a modern indoor golf simulator spot with large bar area.

Fruitive (0.6 mile from Willard)- Healthy breakfast & lunch spot featuring smoothies, bowls, salads, wraps and more. Ted's Bulletin (14th St location, 1.4 miles from Willard)- Popular brunch spot, known for their handmade poptarts and cinnamon rolls as big as your head! Reservations needed! RPM Italian- (1 mile from Willard) Upscale Italian food, and large bar room! dLena- (1 mile from Willard) Upscale Mexican food. Check out their tequila speakeasy underneath the restaurant! Make reservations in advance! District Taco- (right next door to Willard) Need it fast? Build your own tacos/burritos. Old Ebbitt Grill- (right next door to Willard) Iconic DC restaurant with American dishes. Reservations needed! Zaytinya- (0.5 mile from Willard) This is the location of the welcome party! A few of our favorite spots for drinks: Round Robin Bar- (inside the Willard) iconic DC bar with tons of history. Try their signature drink, the Mint Julep. Vue Rooftop Bar- (inside Hotel Washington, next door to Willard) modern rooftop bar with sweeping views of the monuments and city. Off The Record- (inside Hays Adams hotel, 0.5 miles from Willard) historic speak easy type bar. The Wharf- (1.6 miles from Willard) this is a stretch of restaurants and several bars along the potomac river. Looking for an outdoor area with a view, this is the spot. Rocket Bar- (0.8 miles from Willard) feel like checking out China Town? This is a basement sports bar with pool tables, several arcade games and low key environment.
