What is the wedding dress code?
Answer
Formal/Black tie optional. We kindly ask ladies to wear full length dresses (or similar) and men to wear a suit and tie, or a tuxedo.

Can I bring my kids?
Answer
Unfortunately no. We ask that this be an adults only wedding. Thank you for understanding!

Can I bring a guest?
Answer
Due to seating limits we cannot allow for extra guests. Your invitation, and RSVP page will list the names of those invited. Thank you for understanding!

Do I have to stay at the Willard?
Answer
No! DC has so many options to choose from. Please feel free to stay anywhere you wish!

I heard DC traffic is bad. Is it true?
Answer
It's true. The DC area traffic can be as bad as any major city. Please allow for extra time when traveling to and throughout the city by car on weekends. If it says 10 minute drive, trust us it’s 20! We always try to get into, and out of the city by mid day on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays when traveling by car. Once here, DC is extremely walkable!

How far in advance do I need to book things?
Answer
September is the busiest month for weddings in DC. If you are wanting to stay at a particular hotel, the sooner you get it booked the better! Keep in mind the nightly hotel prices will also increase the closer we get, with the exception of The Willard (that price is set).
