A private, intimate ceremony where we will become husband and wife, joined by our parents, siblings, and wedding party.
Guests are invited to start arriving at the Benton House at 4 p.m. Someone from the wedding party will greet you and point you in the right directions.
The announcement of the newlyweds! We will emerge from the Benton House and enter the tent, hopefully to much fanfare! We hope you'll gather in the tent, and grab a drink, leading up to this special moment so we can begin seeing everyone and celebrating with you!
If this is the moment you've been waiting for since the reception started, you're in luck (it's Emily's too). Us newlyweds will cut our cake before it's taken away to be cut and served (though you're welcome to enjoy the array of desserts at any time before or after this moment)! The cutting will happen in front of the Benton House's front doors.
Newly-married as the Cains, we will head to the tent to dance together for the first time as a married couple. Afterwards, we welcome you to join us on the dance floor for a few songs!
Following the dancing, grab a glass of champagne (if you haven't already) or your beverage of choice, and gather in the tent for speeches and toasts from those closest to the bride and groom.
Our little party must come to an end before 9 p.m. Last call will be at 7:45 p.m. As the sun sets, we invite you take some treats for the road, deliver your last well-wishes, and have a safe trip home! If you haven't before you leave, don't forget to sign the guest book in the foyer of the House - we can't wait to look back on this memento in the years to come!
