Punta Cana is only about an hour and a half from Santo Domingo, where the wedding will be. If you’re planning to make a vacation out of your trip, you could spend some time in Punta Cana after the wedding, or arrive a few days early, fly into Punta Cana, and then fly home from Santo Domingo after the festivities.
