When should I rsvp by?
Answer
We haven't set an official RSVP deadline yet. A formal invitation will be sent closer to the wedding with the RSVP date and additional details. However, if you already know whether you'll be able to attend, we'd love for you to let us know now so we can start planning accordingly.

What is the dress code?
Answer
Tropical Garden Formal combines elegance with comfort for an outdoor celebration. Think lightweight, breathable fabrics, vibrant or soft colors, and polished attire suited for a warm, tropical setting. Ladies may opt for midi or floor-length dresses, elegant jumpsuits, or dressy separates in light pastels, tropical prints, or textured fabrics such as satin, chiffon, or linen. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear linen or light-colored suits, or dress pants with a button-down dress shirt, with or without a tie. Since the ceremony will take place on grass, we recommend choosing footwear that is comfortable for walking outdoors. Do I need a passport?
Answer
Yes. Since the wedding is taking place in the Dominican Republic, all guests traveling internationally will need a valid passport. We recommend checking the expiration date well in advance of the trip.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer

How far in advance should I book my travel?
Answer
We recommend booking your flights and accommodations as early as possible to secure the best availability and pricing. You can now view our hotel recommendations by clicking the "travel" tab.

Should I purchase travel insurance?
Answer
While travel insurance is not required, we highly recommend it. Travel insurance can help protect you in the event of unexpected cancellations, delays, lost luggage, or medical emergencies while traveling. Are there any activities you recommend while we're in town?

Absolutely! We encourage you to make a vacation out of your trip. We've put together a list of attractions and activities which you can find under the Things to Do tab. What currency is used in the Dominican Republic?

The official currency is the Dominican peso, though many tourist areas also accept U.S. dollars and major credit cards.

What will the weather be like?
Answer
Expect warm, tropical weather! January in the Dominican Republic typically brings sunny days with temperatures in the low 80s°F (around 27–29°C) and comfortable evenings in the low 70s°F (21–24°C). Although a quick rain shower is always possible, January is generally considered one of the drier months of the year. Be sure to pack lightweight clothing, sunscreen, and something a little warmer for the evenings.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
We would love to celebrate with everyone; however, because of limited space, we can only extend invitations to those whose names appear on the invitation. Thank you for understanding and for being part of our special day!

Answer
Absolutely! If you have a food allergy or dietary restriction, please let us know when you RSVP or reach out to us directly. We will do our best to work with our caterer to accommodate your needs.
