Here are some places to eat and things to do while in Winona.

Things To Do

The best donut place ever! You must try the maple long John. These donuts are absolutely famous. It’s all good but the long john is their signature.

If you need a place to eat dinner on your first night in town or throughout your stay this is my recommendation for Mexican cuisine. Also, Margaritas!

Here is parking if you would like to walk, run, bike the paved paths around the lakes in winona. There is also a recreation building off of the large lake that usually provides kayaks and canoes for free use.

Winona Visitor Center

Drive or Hike to the top to the panoramic look out that views Winona, MN and the bluffs.

Garvin Heights Lookout

Hike Sugarloaf, you can’t miss it driving into Winona. It’s the huge rock on the top of the bluff on the east side of winona. Hiking trails start  just behind Edina Reality. Parking on side of road for this path.
