We welcome you to come celebrate with us as we join together in marriage at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wilson, MN with a celebration to follow at our indoor/outdoor venue, The Crossing Center in Lewiston, MN. We can't wait to celebrate this special moment in our lives with you!

Chad and Emily met in June of 2013 at a night out on the town in Winona Minnesota. Shared common interests and values led to a date the next day at Perkins Restaurant in Winona. Chad and Emily learned over the next 6 years that they were meant to be together and became engaged in December of 2019. After being together for just over 9 years Chad and Emily will join together in marriage in August of 2022.

Chad was born in Winona Minnesota to Robert and Crystal Griffin. He grew up in the Winona area with two younger brothers Garrett and Jesse. He attended high school in Lewiston, MN where he participated in football, mixed martial arts and worked hard on various farm jobs. After graduation Chad attended some college at St. Marys University. After college Chad chose careers working in the trades of plumbing and carpentry. Chad is currently pursuing his career as a general contractor and works a side job installing patented furniture all around the country in jails, prisons, psychiatric wards and other institutions.

Emily was born in Oak Lawn, IL to Dan Potter and Cheryl Evans. She grew up in suburbs of Chicago, small town of Lancaster, WI and finally Winona, MN. Emily grew up in blended families who include a younger sister, Elizabeth, and two step sisters, Amanda and Rebecca. Emily is also a daughter to her Stepdad Troy Evans and Stepmom Karen Potter. Emily attended 5th through 12th grade in Winona and participated in High school Soccer and worked summers and weekends at a hotel in town. After high school Emily attended college at Rochester Community and Technical College where she played soccer for the Rochester Yellowjackets and obtained a veterinary technology degree. After working as a Veterinary Technician, Emily continued her college career at Minnesota Southeast Technical College and the University of Cincinnati which led to careers as a Medical Laboratory Technician and finally a Medical Laboratory Scientist.
