Family-friendly place. Delicious food, local shops and even art stores! There is normally a carousel and mini-ferris wheel. Excellent food and drinks, too!
Sacramento Zoo

Really quite an amazing zoo! Our favorites were the monkeys and the macaw. They recently got a family of cheetahs as an exhibit.
