Emily and Carlos met at Starbucks! Carlos came in (much to Emily's annoyance) right before the shop closed and they had a good laugh over Emily badly misunderstanding Carlos' order. Carlos asked for her number during their brief five minute interaction and they went on their first date the next day. Emily would like it noted that she only ONCE gave out her phone number to a customer. Luckily, she gave it out to the right one. This twelve hour first date included sushi, frozen yogurt, a drive-in movie and lots of magical moments. They were engaged a short time later, perfectly in time with COVID-19 in April 2020. They are so incredibly excited to share this long-awaited, special moment with family and friends!
