Will the wedding be open bar?

Answer

Yes, the whole night is open bar, so please arrive thirsty and drink the night away! Obviously Coors Light will be stocked and ready to go, as well as Tito's and every other favorite.

Will there be children at the wedding?

Answer

Yes and No. The flower girl and ring bearer will be present for the ceremony, but then will leave during cocktail hour so the adults can enjoy a worry free reception!

Is dinner buffet or sit down?

Answer

Dinner will be sit down style. Please choose a meal on the RSVP card once you receive it in the mail. We're sure whichever dinner you choose, it will not disappoint!

What's happening after the wedding?

Answer

Hotel rooms are being reserved at the Courtyard by Marriot in Southington. Those who wish can reserve a room for the night. The bar in the hotel probably won't be open when you get back because it is a Thursday night, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there and see what we can do to accommodate the guests wishing to continue the night.

Will there be a shuttle to and from the hotel?

Answer

We did not book a private shuttle, but we are suggesting guests use Lyft or Uber for travel needs. If four people take a Lyft together from Southington to the Aria, it'll cost $4.50/person for a ride.

What's the dress code?

Answer

It's going to be August, so please don't feel the need to wear a three piece suit. We would love our guests to be comfortable, but just not sweatpants comfortable! If you're happy in a button down shirt and khakis or a floral sundress, those sound like great options. But if you prefer a suit and tie and a ballgown, that's okay too!

The invitation says August 1st, is that right? That's a Thursday.

Yup that's right! We're getting married on a Thursday evening. We thought it would be cool to give everyone an excuse to take a long weekend off from work! Most people will still be able to work on Thursday, if you plan on attending, and you could go to work Friday morning (I mean I wouldn't if I were you, but you do you...!)
