The Old Field Vineyards
This is our ceremony and reception venue, but it's also a lovely place to start your wine tasting adventure or to sit and have a picnic while you enjoy the gorgeous view. If you visit, be sure to tell the owner Ros and her daughter Perry that we sent you!
Shinn Estate Vineyards and Farmhouse
Emily's number one favorite winery on the North Fork. Former owners Barbara Shinn and David Page sold their gem of a winery to a NJ financier couple last season. We're hoping they can keep this place true to its roots. Try the Coalescence white blend. Emily buys it by the case!

One of our favorite wineries on the North Fork.
Martha Clara Vineyards
Good wines and great place to hang outdoors while you enjoy the sites. Kids will like the farm animals.
Lenz Winery
Another of our top winery picks. Worth checking out!
North Fork Roasting Co.
Emily's absolute favorite coffee house on the North Fork. Try their cold brew coffee - so wonderful on a hot summer day!
Riverhead Aquarium
Great place to take the kids (or go yourself!) if you're itching for something to do in Riverhead near the hotels we have blocked.
Greenport Harbor Brewery and Restaurant
Local brewery on the North Fork - check it out! Great beers, food vendors, and games/activities throughout the summer season.

Claudio's Restaurant
Right by the water in Greenport. Worth a stop! While you're in Greenport, do some shopping and check out the historic (and still operating) carousel.
Antique Carousel
Open all summer for rides - check out their website for hours of operation. Great for kids. Get the gold ring and win a free ride! While you're in Greenport, check out the shops and go for a meal at Claudio's.
Port of Egypt Marine Inc
If you're like Bryan and like to ogle all kinds of boats, take a drive to Port of Egypt and see what's docked.
North Fork Table & Inn
Consistently rated as one of the top North Fork restaurants. The big joke is that Bryan and Emily have been meaning to go here for years, and haven't gotten the chance - we'll get there eventually. Not recommended for kids.
Catapano Dairy Farm
Go here to pick up fresh goat milk products including cheese and soaps. They also have an area where you can take the kids to say hello to the goats. :)
Horton Point Lighthouse
Landmark since 1857 offering views of Long Island Sound & Connecticut, with nautical museum & park.
