Things To Do

Rockies Game at Coors Field

2001 Blake Street, Denver, CO 80205
, (303) 292-0200

The Rockies are playing on Friday, September 11 at 6:40p.m. We LOVE Rockies games and have always had a blast! Coors Field is located in the heart of Ballpark District surround by fun bars and restaurants.

River North Art District

2927 Larimer St., Denver, CO 80205

RiNo is a great area to visit in Denver. There are a variety of delicious restaurants, breweries and bars to enjoy! Some of our favorites include Finn's Manor for Drinks, Denver Central Market for Dinner (lots of options for large groups!), Cart-Driver for pizza and Los Chingones for margaritas and tacos. No matter where you choose to go, you wont be disappointed!

Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre

18300 West Alameda Parkway, Morrison, CO 80465
, (720) 865-2494

Red Rocks is a beautiful place to visit while in Colorado. Jimmy Buffet is playing September 8 & 10, and from what we have heard, he is great in concert! We highly recommend visiting this beautiful venue, even if you are not attending a concert. It is worth it!

St. Mary's Glacier

St Marys Dr, Idaho Springs, CO 80452

St. Mary's Glacier is an absolutely stunning hike. It is roughly 3 miles round trip and good for beginners. We have taken both of our families on this trail and everyone has always enjoyed it! It is about 1.5 miles up with a gorgeous lake at the top. If you want to get out into the mountains, this is a great choice. You will need cash to pay for parking - it is very popular!

Downtown Golden

Washington Avenue, Golden, CO 80401
, (303) 384-8080

Downtown Golden is a true wild west town! It is a fun, laid-back spot filled with great restaurants, breweries and walking paths. Our favorite places to visit include New Terrain Brewing (live music every Thursday) and Sassafrass American Eatery for Brunch - order the bloody Mary flight!

Lower Highlands - Our Neighborhood

2620 16th St., Denver, CO 80211

We absolutely love the Highlands! This area is 100% walk-able and filled with great restaurants, happy hours and cocktail lounges. It is also a short uber ride to the River North Art District and walking distance to Coors Field. We could go on and on about our favorite places to visit but here are our top 5: 1. Postino Wine Bar - delicious bruschetta, 2. Family Jones - amazing cocktails and bites, try the avocado daiquiri, 3. Bar Dough - great Italian-style food, with Emily's favorite cocktail, Aperol Spritz, 4. Root Down - the farm to table dishes are amazing, 5. William & Graham - a fun speakeasy with delicious cocktails. One more! Little Man Ice Cream - it is delicious!
