Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center

Tje Gaylord Opryland Resort in Nashville, TN is absolutely beautiful. The entire inside of the hotel, which consists of multiple atriums each with a different theme, are absolutely beautiful (and award winning!) botanical gardens. There are also cute shops, and delicious restaurants. The Opry Mills Mall is a short walk across the parking lot, too.

Jack Daniel's Distillery Visitor Center

Jack Daniels is just a few minutes up the road from our wedding venue and a really neat tour to take, especially if you have never toured other distilleries. In addition to the regular tour, they also offer tasting tours where you can sample their different whiskeys. The tour also has a short ride around that little part of Lynchburg, where there is a restaurant and a few small shops.

Mayday Brewery

Great local brewery to check out in downtime.

Arrington Vineyards

Arrington Vineyards is a beautiful local vineyard and winery that also hosts small concerts, free of charge, throughout the summer and various nights throughout the year. The land is beautiful and the wine is yummy.

Bell Buckle Cafe

We can't speak highly enough about this local, meat-and-three style diner. Everything is always amazing, and they sell some of their seasonings and sauces to bring home. If you stay a little while in Bell Buckle, there are also antique shops, a homemade ice cream and soda shoppe, and some cute town history.

Cheekwood Estate and Gardens is a beautiful area in Nashville that hosts a variety of art installations, botanical gardens, and events throughout the year. It is absolutely beautiful. Leading up to the wedding, they are having a bunch of fabulous events for children during the day, including hands on activities and story times. At night, they host special events, concerts, food trucks, Thirsty Thursdays, and a harvest festival. If you find you have a free afternoon or evening in Nashville, we strongly encourage you to check it out. And bring your camera 📸- lots of great photo ops!
