Are kids invited?

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! Let us know if you would like for us to help you get in touch with a local sitter.

Can I bring a date?

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes. If not, we would prefer if it was just you.

What's the dress code?
Answer
Black tie optional, please. If you're on the fence about what to wear, we definitely recommend going more formal!

What should I do if I can't make it?
Answer
You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?
Answer
Both the ceremony and reception will be taking place at Southern Oaks in New Orleans! The ceremony will be outside on the front lawn, with the reception immediately following in the ballroom.

What time should I arrive?
Answer
We recommend that you arrive 15-20min before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Where can I park?
Answer
Southern Oaks offers free parking on location. Upon arrival, you will be directed to the parking lot, and a shuttle will pick you up and bring you to the ceremony location.
Question
Will there be options for me if I have dietary restrictions?
Answer
Yes! Southern Oaks offers a variety of hand-passed hors d' oeuvres. There will be options available for vegetarians and vegans. If you have other dietary restrictions, please let us know so we can inform the venue. They will do their best to ensure that all our guest's needs are met but cannot guarantee that certain allergens can be avoided.
