Maid of Honor
To say I’m excited for June 19 would be an understatement. It seems like just yesterday Emily was moving to MI after high school. I don’t think I have ever cried so much. My best friend was finally leaving for college. I was able to experience this 2 more times, the final time being when Emily went off to FGCU. She finally found a school she loved, and a great guy along with that. It takes a strong person to tolerate my sister, and Austin (austy bby) is that person. It is freaky how similar they are with their interests and goals. They have traveled the country, adopted a dog together, and continue to treat me to dinner weekly. Austin & Emily's future is so bright together. They will have the cutest and shortest children ever. I'm so honored to be standing next to her on her wedding day!

Emily and I have been best friends since Mrs. Thomas’s class in first grade. The first time I ever went over to her house I had to call my mom to come pick me up because I thought I wasn’t wearing any underwear under my tights (I was).

Thanks to Kappa Delta Sorority, I met Emily my freshman year at FGCU and have been close friends ever since. Throughout the past 5 years we've gone through so many milestones by each other's side, and I am honored to be a part of this one. Always and forever, #RAB <3

My beautiful Emily! Here’s our story: I’ll never forget the day I met Emily. I was invited to her and Austin’s wine tasting way back when they lived here in CA. I just knew from the moment I met both Emily and Austin, they would be my lifelong friends. When they lived with me for a period of time, I had never felt more whole. We had the best times, laughs and amazing food! Safe to say, I was so sad when they moved back East. Emily has been my saving grace, my shoulder to lean on and someone I trust the most. Her energy is contagious, she always checks in on me given how far away we are now, and no matter how much time as passed by, we always pick up where we left. I’m so honored to be her bridesmaid and share this special day with her and Austin. I love you Em! (PS - come back to LA!!)

My name is Fallon! I met Emily in 2015 when I went to a party she was having in her north lake apartment. All of my favorite college memories include her and the other members of the “island”. Our friendship means more to me than anything and I’m thrilled to be apart of her big day! <3

My name is Gabriela! I met Emily in 2015 at Florida Gulf Coast University. I’ve referred to her as “Hudec” ever since. If I remember correctly, we both had missed a ceremony for our sorority and had to go to a make up time for it. The rest is history! Hudec and I instantly got along because of our sarcastic comments and inability to deal with anyone’s BS, so it wasn’t long before we were spending every day together. Over the next two years of college together, I got to witness the start of her and Austin’s relationship, (literally, I was in the study room when they first met) and how it grew into what it is today. You will most definitely find me crying and then immediately on the dance floor in June 2021.

Hi! My name is Melissa! I met Emily in 2015 at Florida Gulf Coast University. We became really good friends throughout our time in Kappa Delta. We all refer to her as “Hudec” and will most likely continue to do so as it's so natural to us, sorry Austin. I also lived with Emily our second year at FGCU, that’s when I met Austin, he was basically a 5th roommate to us! My favorite memory with Emily would have to be us basically having the whole Bonita beach to ourselves and sipping on Coronas (lol). Back then you would have always found Emily and I either at the pool or beach, basically living in our swimsuits. I cannot wait for June 2021!!! Prepare for some tears and lots of dancing!

Hello my name is Amber, I met Emily a couple years ago when she started dating my brother Austin. After meeting Emily and seeing how well we got along (and all of the things we have in common) I hoped that Austin would one day marry her. The day finally came, and now I get to be blessed with another sister-in-law!

Emily and I met many moons ago, when we were awkward, fresh high schoolers at Andrean. We formed an allegiance, and have been friends ever since!

My first memory of Emily was on bid day 2015. We just opened our bid cards and all the Kappa Delta’s started grouping together. She immediately ran up to me and a few other girls (that are now also her bridesmaids!!!), threw her arms around us and said we should all take a group picture. That day and many days after, she was a reminder of why I chose Kappa Delta. And as you can imagine, the rest is history!

Moments after we got our sorority bid, we found out we had the same name, same major, multiple classes together and instantly bonded. The more time we spent together, Em became my best friend, my other half of Emily squared and will forever be someone I hold dear to my heart.

Emily & I have been friends for over 10 years, becoming inseparable our freshman year of High School. We have been by each others side through all of life's highs & lows and I am so excited to be by her side when she marries her best friend!
