Yes, we are! As of right now, we are going forward with our plans to have our ceremony at our lake house in Bloomingdale, MI and reception at Black River Barn in South Haven, MI on Saturday, June 19th.
From downtown South Haven, head east on Phoenix Street toward Veterans Boulevard. Take Phoenix Street all the way until it "T"s (this is 46th Street). Turn left onto 46th Street. Drive about 0.3 mile, then take a right onto 4th Avenue. Drive about 3.5 miles, then turn left onto 3850th (38-1/2) Street. You will see a sign on the corner that says "E & A". Stay on this street until you see the blue and white balloons. There will be a parking attendant that will help guide you the rest of the way!
When you go to RSVP, please include your primary email address. This will ensure that if there are last-minute changes, you will be notified. Since the ceremony is planned to be outside and uncovered, we hope that the weather will be in our favor. But as we all know, mother nature sometimes has other plans. We have a Plan B in place if this does happen, and you will be notified via email if this decision needs to be made.
The formal invitations were sent out via USPS on Friday, April 30th. Based off the feedback we received from the Save The Dates, we expect that you should be receiving them anywhere from 5-10 days after they were sent out. Please contact Austin or Emily if you do not receive it by the middle of May. If you do not RSVP by June 1, we will contact you to confirm that you received your formal invitation.
We REQUIRE that everyone RSVP whether they plan to attend or not. This will aid us in providing an accurate guests count to our vendors for food, drink, chairs for ceremony, etc. We are NOT sending out paper RSVP cards; we are asking that you RSVP on our wedding website. There is a tab on the top right of this page where you simply type your name. Please provide guest name, food options (for both you and guest if applicable) and email address. EMAIL ADDRESS IS INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT, in the case that we have to send out any updates when the date gets closer. We would also like to know any dietary restrictions or songs you wish for us to play at the reception! ***We ask that all RSVPs (attending or not) be submitted by Tuesday, June 1, 2021
Yes, you 100% can! We have three food options for our dinner service, but we completely understand that people may have unique specifications. When you go to RSVP on the website, please include these allergies/dietary restrictions in the designated text box. We will do our best to accommodate everyone!
