Matron of Honor
Emily and Amy have been friends since high school, where they bonded over countless practices, games, and team bus rides on the soccer and volleyball teams. After college, they reconnected and grew even closer. Emily had the honor of standing by Amy’s side as her maid of honor last October—so it’s only fitting that now Amy gets to return the favor!
Bridesmaid
Michelle and Emily first met way back in preschool—there’s photo evidence to prove it! Although life took them in different directions afterthat, fate had other plans. Years later, when Emily started dating Adam, she was surprised to discover that his best friend was none other than Michelle. Just like that, life brought their friendship full circle.
Bridesmaid
Emily first met Kristi through their mutual friendship with Michelle. As fate would have it, Kristi is also married to the best man! The four of them share a love for culinary adventures and can often be found exploring new restaurants—or enjoying a pint at one of their favorite breweries. Kristi and Emily have also declared that their dogs must be best friends, and they’re frequently spotted sipping coffee or a cocktail while doting on their beloved “children.”
Bridesmaid
Alicia and Emily have been close friends for over a decade, ever since Alicia relocated from Rochester to Syracuse for work. Their friendship quickly blossomed over a shared love of Taylor Swift, ‘90s nostalgia, and all things musical theatre. Emily proudly (and frequently) takes credit for introducing Alicia to her now husband—playing matchmaker was just another fun little bonus in their already tight-knit bond.
Bridesmaid
Emily and Bridget have been best friends since grade school, a bond that’s only grown stronger over the years—even with miles and state lines between them. Emily affectionately calls Bridget “Et,” a childhood nickname that’s stuck through the decades. From Girl Scouts, sleepovers, and softball games to the daily morning drives to high school, track meets, and every semi-formal and prom in between, Et has been by Emily’s side through it all. Their families have stayed close as well, continuing to share in all the seasons of life together.
Best Man
Adam and Nick have been close friends since middle school. Towering over their classmates, the two were hard to miss as they roamed the halls of high school together. Whether carving down snowy slopes in the winter or shooting hoops on the basketball courts in the summer, they were rarely apart. Their bond only grew stronger over the years—they went to college together, became roommates afterward. Five years ago, Adam stood by Nick’s side as his best man. Now, Nick gets to return the honor and fulfill those duties himself.
Groomsman
Adam and his brother Bryan, close in age, grew up with a strong bond rooted in their shared love of soccer and video games. You could find them together behind a controller or out on the soccer field throughout childhood. That love for the game stuck—they still play together in a couple of adult soccer leagues today. Engineering runs in the Jones blood, and both brothers proudly followed in their father’s footsteps to become engineers.
Groomsman
Adam and Aaron met over a decade ago through Michelle (yes, Emily’s friend first—and proud bridesmaid!). The two hit it off quickly, bonding over their mutual love of bourbon and golf. Whether they're out playing 18 holes or hunting down rare bottles to one-up each other, their competitive spirit is alive and well. Adam affectionately refers to him as “A-A-Ron,” and their shared passion for kickball is still going strong each summer—despite the very minimal enthusiasm from their respective spouses.
Groomsman
Jordan and Adam have been close friends since middle school, where their bond first formed on the soccer field and through a shared love of childish humor and shenanigans. Their friendship only grew stronger in college, where they both majored in mechanical engineering and powered through countless late-night study sessions together. After graduation, Jordan joined the post-college roommate crew with Adam, and the two have remained great friends ever since.
Groomsman
Matt and Adam met by chance when they were randomly paired as college roommates—but it didn’t take long for fate to turn that coincidence into a lifelong friendship. They continued living together throughout college and even continued to do so for a few years after graduation. Emily likes to joke that Matt was their “adopted child” for a while, since the three of them were practically inseparable. Despite Matt’s multiple moves over the years, he and Adam have stayed close—proof that some roommate pairings really are meant to be.
Officiant
Emily and Adam are honored to have Mike be their officiant. They have known him for over a decade - Mike rounded out Adam’s post-college living quarters. He attended Syracuse University and graduated with his PhD in Accounting and is currently an Associate Professor of Accounting at Merrimack College.
