San Diego Zoo Safari Park

An offshoot of the San Diego Zoo, the Safari Park is super fun. Bring your walking shoes and a water bottle - while most of the park is flat, it's very large and can get pretty hot in the sun.

Balboa Park

A beautiful sprawling complex of museums, gardens, and restaurants in downtown San Diego. Worth a visit! Parking can get a little crazy on the weekends. The San Diego Zoo is attached to Balboa Park if you're interested!

LEGOLAND California

Emily worked at the aquarium attached to Legoland briefly and recommends the apple fries by the Hideaways or the mac and cheese in the Sea Life cafeteria. Highly recommend the submarine ride in the main park as well!
