Our story involves a housemates-to-lovers arc, mostly characterized by me insisting I was not in fact falling for Abram for months (when I in fact was). I moved into a co-ed house in Cerritos in mid 2022 after finishing college with a few other people that Abram was friends with at the time. In late 2022, a spot opened up in the house and Abram moved in, joining late night trash TV binging sessions with myself and another friend. By summer of 2023, we were good friends (and that's IT, in my eyes) until Abram proposed a date or two. Worried it would ruin our friendship, I said no initially - but quickly changed my mind after realizing that I had been falling for him for months! By August of 2023 we were dating and by November we had moved into our own apartment together. Abram proposed to me a few days after Thanksgiving of 2025. I'm so grateful to be able to marry my partner and best friend who has been my rock through many health struggles and intense anxiety episodes, my adventure buddy in late night food runs and mini getaways and work trips, and the core of my joy and ease in this crazy world we live in. He makes me laugh every day and I can't wait for this next chapter of our lives.

Our story begins when I noticed Emily walking in from a day out in LA while I was visiting a friend's house that she was living in. I had soon moved into said house after thinking about it for a few months. Emily and I grew as friends, playing board games, enjoying hostess charcuterie boards, and going out to various food excursions! At first, I didn't have any feelings for Emily, but as we continued to hang out and get to know each other, I began to fall for her, and fall hard! After a scary, yet funny, health emergency, I realized that life is too short to wonder about "what ifs". I paced outside Emily's door for what seemed like hours and mustered up the courage to finally ask her out on a date (which she said no to)! After she realized she was COMPLETELY in love with me, she agreed to a date and we have been inseperable ever since!
