FAQs

If you have any questions that are not answered here, please reach out to Emily's mother, Janina (206 715 3828).
Question

Health and Safety

Answer

You are entering the venue and property at your own risk. Goat and Seed is not responsible for any damage or injury. We ask that everyone be up-to-date on the Covid vaccines (last dose must be on or after 8/1/2024) and bring proof of vaccination, physical or photo. If you do not have proof of vaccination on hand while entering the venue, you will be provided with a mask and must wear it during the ceremony, reception, and any other time you are not actively eating or drinking. There are guests who are immunocompromised and Emily and Aaron work in healthcare with children and older adults who are at high risk and they do not want to worry about bringing any illnesses to clients.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The wedding is semi-formal, so tuxes and gowns are welcome, but so are sundresses and lighter colored suits! There is a lot of grass on the farm, so if you want to wear heels, be sure they are block heels or wedges :) Please do not wear black, white, or gray outfits; we want to see you in color!

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding will be outdoors, with shaded areas and a partial coverage from tents. There are options for rain or sunshine which will keep you dry and shaded.

Question

What do I need to know about the venue?

Answer

Goat and Seed is a working farm, so there are goats, chickens, and pigs on the property! The farm has a lot of grass and dust, so please wear shoes that will allow you to walk comfortably.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

No! The farm has minimal parking, but guests will be shuttled to and from the venue. All guests have permission to park at the field behind the Chevron gas station at: 5124 Storm Lake Rd Snohomish, WA 98290 We recommend arriving 45 to 60 minutes early (between 3:00pm and 3:15pm) to park, get shuttled in, and enjoy the farm. There will be signs to guide you! There is on-site parking access for the wedding party and guests with disabilities or mobility devices. Please reach out to Emily and Aaron for more info.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Only children who have been explicitly invited will be allowed. The farm is an active, working farm and we are limiting the number of children invited to ensure safety.

Question

Will I be able to eat food with my dietary restrictions?

Answer

Yes! There will be vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-free options. All food is sourced from the farm and other local farms and prepared onsite. If you have any other dietary restrictions, please let us know when you RSVP so we can discuss with our caterer :)
