***IMPORTANT*** Please arrive at the Eagle Bahn Gondola no later than 2:15 PM. The ceremony will begin promptly at 3 PM. This will ensure ample time to be seated and settled before the celebration begins. Enjoy the views!
If you're staying in Lionshead Village, you'll be within walking distance of all wedding events. Guests in Vail Village can expect about a 20-minute walk through town to get to Lionshead. Complimentary public transportation is also available, and will take you directly to Lionshead Village. The Eagle Bahn Gondola is a 5 minute paved walk from the nearest bus stop. Please plan your own transportation to arrive at the gondola. From there, the gondola will transport guests to our ceremony at the Holy Cross Event Deck, located at the mountain's summit. After the ceremony, we'll descend together via gondola, and the cocktail hour + reception is just a short two-minute walk away.
Yes, our ceremony will be held outdoors, weather permitting. Late September in Vail typically offers cool, comfortable, sunny conditions, though mountain weather can be unpredictable. We have an indoor backup location in case of thunderstorms :) All walkways and locations are paved!
The town of Vail sits at 8,000' in elevation and the ceremony location will be at 10,300. If you aren't used to these elevations, here are some things to know: • The air is thin. If you find yourself experiencing mild symptoms like headaches, dizziness, or fatigue when you make it to town, take it easy, drink water, and avoid strenuous activity • High altitude is very dehydrating - be sure to drink lots of water leading up to your travel to Colorado, as well as throughout your stay! • Alcohol hits different at high altitudes. We recommend a "one-to-one" rule: drink one full glass of water for every alcoholic beverage you consume. • Bring your sunscreen! Even on a cool day, the sun is more intense and you can easily find yourself getting a nice sunburn.

Yes, there are several convenient parking options for our wedding. We recommend parking at your accommodation and utilizing public transportation or walking to the Eagle Bahn Gondola. Multiple public parking areas are available throughout the town for your convenience. Note that parking in Vail often requires payment. Expect to pay $60 a night at most hotels and parking structures.
We respectfully request no children at the reception, allowing all of our guests to enjoy an adults-only evening.
