The ceremony is in Stone Chapel on the corner of Central Street and Benton Street. There is parking available in a parking lot across the intersection that also sits on Central and Benton. This parking lot has plenty of parking and is right across the street! There is also street parking in front of the chapel all down Benton and Lot 6 of Drury University will be open! To view parking lot numbers at Drury University just click this link :) https://www.drury.edu/map/drurymap_color.pdf
Cocktail attire is what we are recommending! This is a good balance between full formal evening attire and casual clothing. This would be something like a dress or jumpsuit for ladies and slacks with a button down with a tie for gentlemen! Suit jackets and blazers are optional.
After our ceremony we hope you will join us for our reception at the Savoy Ballroom on Commercial Street!! We hope you join us for our celebration after the ceremony with dancing, hors d’oeuvres, and lots of fun! Commercial street is very close to Stone Chapel so it is a short car ride to get to the reception! The address of the Savoy is 224 E Commercial St, Springfield, MO 65803.
There are many free parking options on Commercial street! There are parking spots in the street all along commercial street that will be free parking during the time of the wedding and there are free parking lots within walking distance as well :) Here is a link to help you find your way on C-Street!! https://static1.squarespace.com/static/574889efcf80a1dfc9f00d7b/t/5d557f692b215200011bb88d/1565884268058/CStreet_Map_2019.png
Yes! Of course we want you to take pictures if you want to! We will be having a professional photographer who will have lots of planned pictures for us. However, we really want to see the moments you felt were special and things that we may have missed! So if you want to take pictures we will look forward to seeing them :) We just ask that you be mindful of our photographer and let her get the pictures she is trying to take!
That's ok!! To ask your question you can email the bride's mom, Cindy @ecebeach@att.net or reach out to the bride directly @emrosebeach@gmail.com :)
Unfortunately, the world is in a very different state than we expected when we first started our wedding planning journey. At this point we are moving forward with our plans to celebrate with everyone on September 5, 2020. At this time Stone Chapel will be requiring all guests to wear face masks during the ceremony. We will be following the guidelines that are put in place at the time and are taking precautions in many ways. We will be encouraging as much social distancing as possible and all safety regulations. We want you to still feel like you can join us for our big day in whatever way makes you feel safe. Our main priority is to keep everyone happy and healthy! If we make any major adjustments to our wedding we will reach out to all guests!
