We met on the first day of our freshman year of high school. We sat by each other during first block biology, then we were assigned as partners that lasted the whole year. We became good friends and quickly began talking more, then finally started dating at the beginning of our sophomore year after one awesome ice skating date. We went on to date for 5 1/2 more years before getting engaged. We have walked by each other through graduation, prom, starting college, bad days, good days, and probably about 500 Qdoba dates!

Hunter planned a whole date that mimicked our first date that was ice skating at the Jordan Valley Ice Park. We went out for dinner and then after our skate time, we went outside to walk through the Christmas lights. Then after a short walk, Hunter finally proposed and Emily answered the easiest question she has ever been asked❤️
