Things To Do

We're excited to share some of the places we like to go and the food we like to eat.
Franks Diner

Franks Diner

508 58th St, Kenosha, WI 53140

It's a great place for breakfast and in an old train car! Be warned, it gets really busy.

TG's Restaurant and Pub

TG's Restaurant and Pub

4120 7th Ave, Kenosha, WI 53140

This is our neighborhood public house that we play trivia at every Tuesday. They have a good drink selection, great dinner specials and the best cheesecake.

The Coffee Pot

The Coffee Pot

4914 7th Ave, Kenosha, WI 53140

One of our favorite breakfast spots in Kenosha. It has a cute outdoor patio spot too.

Kenosha Harbor Market (Saturday 9am-2pm)

Kenosha Harbor Market (Saturday 9am-2pm)

5508 2nd Ave, Kenosha, WI 53140

The Harbor Market is a great place to spend some time on a Saturday morning. This farmers and crafts market also offers coffee, pastries, and all sorts of random food. Plus, you can walk around the harbor for good lighthouse pics.

Simmons Island Beach

Simmons Island Beach

5001 Simmons Island Road, Kenosha, WI 53140

Simmons Island Beach is the nicest one in town. Usually the water is pretty cold, but every once in a while we like to jump in for a second.

Civil War Museum

Civil War Museum

5400 1st Ave, Kenosha, WI 53140

Kenosha has several museums (Dinosaur Museum, Public Museum, Southport Light Station Museum, History Center), but the Civil War Museum is pretty impressive if you are looking to learn some history while you're in town.

Sazzy B - Kenosha Restaurant

5623 6th Avenue, Kenosha, WI 53140
, (262) 925-8499

Sazzy B's is a one of the more unique restaurants in Kenosha. The food and drinks are always wonderful. Next store is the Buzz Cafe, which is a great place to stop for a more casual lunch.

Shirl's Frozen Custard

Shirl's Frozen Custard

7943 Sheridan Road, Kenosha, WI 53143

We love Shirl's custard. They have a different flavor of the day every day and it's always awesome.

AEppelTreow Winery

AEppelTreow Winery

1072 288th Avenue, Burlington, WI 53105
, (262) 878-5345

Winery is an understatement. They certainly do make great wine, and spirits, but their dry ciders are the real show-stoppers. AEppelTreow (pronounced apple true) is adjacent to a beautiful apple orchard.

PUBLIC Craft Brewing Co

PUBLIC Craft Brewing Co

716 58th Street, Kenosha, WI 53140
, (262) 652-2739

Kenosha has three breweries in town. This is our favorite. No kitchen, but feel free to bring food and have a beer here.

The Red Oak Restaurant

The Red Oak Restaurant

4410 200th Avenue, Bristol, WI 53104
, (262) 857-8588

Our favorite restaurant in all of Kenosha County. Local and seasonal cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. Always a great experience.

Los Compadres Mexican Restaurant

Los Compadres Mexican Restaurant

3935 52nd St, Kenosha, WI 53144

There are quite a few great Mexican food options in Kenosha. This is our favorite.

For all the days along the way
