What's the schedule?
Answer
These times are likely to shift a little, but here's the general plan: 5:30 pm- Ceremony out at the old oak tree at Seno Woodland Center. It's about a 5 minute walk from the parking lot. There are two routes to get there, either through the prairie or through the woods. 6 pm - Cocktail hour where the ceremony was. 7 pm- Dinner at the barn. Walk back through the woods to get there. The barn is also where the restrooms are. 8:30 pm- Music by Frogwater with contradancing

What is contradancing and why are you having it at your wedding?
Answer
We started attending an "Urban Barn Dance" in Milwaukee a few years ago where Frogwater (the wedding band) plays, and it is one of our favorite things. We are definitely not pros, but it's still so fun! Contradance is a type of folk dance where a caller tells the dancers what to do (sort of like line dancing- picture more upbeat Pride and Prejudice). We'll have someone introduce and walk us through each dance. It's very repetitive, so after laughing through a few rounds, we usually get it down and feel very accomplished. What's a fish boil?
Answer
Fish boils are a Scandinavian tradition that is popular is Door County, Wisconsin. A large pot of whitefish, onions and potatoes is boiled over a fire and then the food is scooped out. It's one of the fun things we've discovered and enjoyed in Wisconsin and want to share with everyone.
Question
Will there be a shuttle?
Answer
Yes! There will be a bus leaving the Hampton Inn & Suites Kenosha at 4:45pm to take people to Seno Woodland Center if they prefer not to drive. The bus will then take people back to the Hampton Inn towards the end of the evening, around 10:30.
