University Circle is full of history! Take a walk in the Cleveland Cultural Gardens in Rockefeller Park and admire the 33 distinct gardens commemorating different ethnicities that are represented in the USA. Explore the halls of the Cleveland Natural History Museum, and say hello to Balto and Lucy while you're there! Go visit the Museum of Contemporary Art or the Cleveland Museum of Art to escape the June heat (Emily's dad liked the suit of armor exhibit at the CMA as a kid).
Don't underestimate Lake Erie! Wander down to Edgewater for a beach day. Get your tan on, eat some ice cream, and take a selfie by the Cleveland sign like a real tourist. Aggie and Franklin, our dogs, love to go to the dog friendly section of the beach with their fellow furry friends.
Don't just come for the wedding, spend the day looking at the 279 animal species that the Cleveland Zoo takes care of. Every one of our guests gets free admission day of! Childhood favorites are the Rainforest and wolf exhibit.
Gordon Square is a popular arts hub in Cleveland's Detroit Shoreway neighborhood. Aside from the theaters and art galleries (go see who they're showing at 78th St. Studios), there are plenty of things to check out. Go for a shopping spree at Oceanne Studio and Boutique to grab some minimalist jewelry, or take a look at the beautifully crafted leather bags at Fount. To get your sweet fix, hit up Sweet Moses, an old school soda and ice cream shop originally founded in 1911, or Brewnuts, if you prefer to pair your donut dessert with a nice cold beer. Next, get competitive at the Supereclectic Pinball Parlor. Bonus points if you walk around and recognize some murals from our engagement shoot. Gordon Square is known for them!
