Matron of Honor
Allison and Emily met freshman year of college, as random roommates in the honors program at UT Chattanooga (along with Frankie!). She is the type of friend who always intentionally listens and remembers the little details! In college, she was a Kappa Delta and introduced Emily to sorority life with the Girl Scout Cookie Expo. Emily rushed the next semester, and they ended up both being Kappa Delta together! Since college, Emily was Allison's maid of honor, they love going to concerts together, and are even seeing Ed Sheeran this fall! Fun Memory: Making friendship bracelets and seeing Taylor Swift at the Eras tour together! They had a magical experience!
Bridesmaid
Francesca "Frankie" and Emily met freshman year of college, as random roommates in the honors program at UT Chattanooga (along with Allison)! The three of them truly became friends Labor Day Weekend, when they cooked spaghetti in the dorm community kitchen and used the trash can as their table. Frankie and Emily quickly bonded over their mutual love of Ed Sheeran songs, any form of potato, and dogs. They had many fun adventures in college, including paddle boarding on the Tennessee River freshman year. They were roommates for two years in college and the three of them still try to get together multiple times a year! Fun Memory: Frankie visited Emily in Tuscaloosa during grad school and they snuck into the University of Alabama game together!
Bridesmaid
Savannah and Emily met on the first 'official" day of classes their freshman year at UT Chattanooga. Classes had been cancelled for the Lunar Eclipse the day before. They were both grabbing breakfast in the omelet line at Croads, started chatting, and ended up exchanging numbers that day. Fun Fact: Savannah's profile picture in Emily's phone is still the picture she took that day. Since their time at UT Chattanooga together, the two have always been there for each other and like to explre each other's cities! Fun memory: Winning an opportunity to meet Russell Dickerson at the Mocs Block tailgate before the UTC football game...and not making it because the UTC bus was running so late.
Bridesmaid
Although Sarah is also Chris's older sister, she has been like a sister to Emily since they all met in middle school. She has always been the couple's cheerleader (unbeknownst to Emily for the longest time) and loves to get all the family and friends together. She even helped devise the logistics to Emily and Chris's proposal and was the one taking the pictures you see on the website! She's also inspired Emily to start one of her favorite hobbies (sourdough) and has the best book recommendations. Fun Memory: Sarah visited Emily once for a cooking class book club based on The Women by Kristin Hannah and ended up getting a private cooking lesson!
Bridesmaid
Although Carlie is married to Emily's little brother, David, she is also a sweet friend to Emily. Carlie and Emily spent a lot of this past Christmas writing on recipe cards and exchanging their favorites! She is such a kind friend who will send you a care package in the mail for your birthday with a story behind every little thing in there! Carlie has the best eye for antiques and thrifting, and she always finds great deals! Fun Memory: Emily joined Carlie on a mother/daughter trip to Charleston to pick out Carlie's wedding dress! A special and fun weekend, where we all bought matching scarves from the Charleston Market (it was surprisingly cold).
