Silver Lake - Big Cottonwood Canyon
A short distance from the venue is a beautiful alpine lake, with a short and accessible 0.75 mile boardwalk hike. The lake is known for picturesque views and is the location of our engagement photos.
Donut Falls Summer Trailhead
Halfway up Big Cottonwood Canyon is a 1.5 mile roundtrip hike to a beautiful waterfall! Consider stopping at this hidden gem on your way up for a chance to see a moose and beautiful scenery.
Silver Fork Lodge and Restaurant
A cozy restaurant and bar located halfway up Big Cottonwood Canyon. A great place to stop for lunch!
Uinta Brewing Co
The location of our first date, Uinta is named after one of the local mountain ranges and is our favorite local brewery!
Antelope Island State Park
Located 1 hour from the Salt Lake Airport, Antelope Island is a great day trip to see mountains, bison, and the Great Salt Lake.
Bonneville Salt Flats
The location of our engagement, we love the Salt Flats and recommend you check it out! Located 1.5 hours from the Salt Lake Airport, you will be surrounded by mountains on a dry salt lake. Fun fact, this is the location of Bonneville Speed Week!
National Park Services
If you're looking to make a trip out of it, we highly recommend checking out some of the 5 national parks that Utah has to offer. Each located 3-4 hours away, are the perfect location for continued adventure.
