Best Man
Augie is Charlie’s best friend and twin brother. They became close in their mother’s womb and have remained that way since. Augie is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame College of Engineering and now works in Seattle developing new space technologies for a trendy startup (very nice). He is kind, intelligent, an athlete, and possesses a quick wit rivaled only by the late great John Collins, his namesake and grandfather. He is a dedicated partner to his girlfriend Georgie, and spends his free time mountain biking, pool hustling, and generally making more of his life than most. He has supported Charlie through ups and downs and so it is a great honor for the bride and groom to have him by their sides on such a special day.
Bridesmaid
Emilee Kulow has been one of Emilee's best friends over the past few years. They both knew that they had to be friends when they discovered that they spelled "Emilee" the same way! Emilee is a doting new mother to Annaleia (8 months). Emilee is spunky and always says what she thinks, and she has a strong sense of what is important to her. Emilee brings love and respect to everyone she meets! The two Emilee's have a lot in common, and they provide a unique understanding for each other that is hard to find. Emilee always understood Emilee's feelings for Charlie in 2023 when they were broken up, and gave her unquestioning support, which gave Emilee the feeling that her heart was safe with her. They are never afraid to be 100% honest with each other. They both have changed a lot over the past couple of years, but this dynamic duo from the notorious S. Ohio Ave Meeting Hall always pick up right where they left off.
Groomsman
Peter Donat is one of Charlies closest friends. After becoming acquainted in high school the two formed a closer bond after graduation. Since then they have been roommates (briefly), coworkers (occasionally), workout/climbing/running buddies (often), and avid debate partners (always). The adage “iron sharpens iron” rings particularly true in Charlie’s friendship with Peter. Without Peter’s example and motivations Charlie is sure he could not lift the second largest Atlas Stone at the Scioto Audubon Metro Park, and he is equally sure that Peter will eventually be able to do the same if he just gets his hips to hinge a little more. Peter holds a degree in physics from THE Ohio State University and is probably the most capable and annoyingly intelligent person this side of the Olentangy. Peter knows Charlie better than most, which makes his continued friendship, tolerance, and support that much more laudable. Emilee and Charlie are incredibly thankful to have such a friend.

Emily has been a huge support to Emilee the past several months, from holding her accountable with things she was working on to being a source of encouragement during Emilee and Charlie's engagement, and we are so honored to have her be a part of our wedding! Emily is newly married to Aedan Maloney, and they have a relationship that is an inspiration to us. For our engagement, they gifted us an amazing Theology of the Body book called "Holy Sex! A Guide to Toe-Curling, Mind-Blowing, Infallible Loving" by Gregory Popcack and it was one of the most exciting, inspiring, and informative books that Emilee and Charlie have ever read. Who else would give us a book like that?! It meant so much that Emily and Aedan put their bashfulness aside to help us in that department. Stunningly bright and always caring, Emily works as an engineer and is a faithful book club member. When Emilee met Emily, she knew she could be honest with her about her and Charlie's past without facing judgement, and that meant so much to her. Emily came into our lives at the perfect time, and we are so thankful!
Groomsman
Reece Broderson is one of Charlie’s closest friends. They met in Boulder, Colorado while Charlie was bumming it in the back of his truck and they quickly bonded over their shared love of long distance trail running, carpentry, and religion. Rastas and Catholics have more in common than one might think! While Charlie lived in Boulder Reece and he would frequent the Walker Ranch loop where they would run and have long talks about life between gasps for air. Charlie knew Reece would be a long time friend after they summited Mt Princeton together in a thunderstorm (not advisable) and Reece was impressed not disgusted by Charlie’s choice of footwear. When he is not getting struck by lightning or smashing 50 milers Reese is loving his dog Ziggy and cat Kodiak, volunteering as a firefighter, and just being a general badass friend. Emilee and Charlie cannot wait to reunite with Reece in Columbus and share their special day with him.
Bridesmaid
Emilee and Sophia haven't known each other for long, but they instantly became friends when they met at St. Patrick, exchanged numbers, and started texting like crazy. Their high energies and colorful pasts are especially compatible. They experienced reversions to the faith around the same time, and they have so much in common. They can talk for hours without even scratching the surface. There aren't many people that can keep up with Emilee, and Sophia is one of them! Emilee appreciates that even with her winding path to practicing her faith, Sophia and her can learn from each other. Sophia pushes Emilee to grow in her faith and analyze why she does the things she does. A devout and inspiring lover of the Lord, Sophia is a brilliant and hilarious young woman working on a Ph.D in clinical neuroscience, with a focus on the neuroscience of addiction. Emilee loves that her and Sophia can learn so much about one another's different perspectives on addiction. Sophia has brought an exciting energy to Emilee's bridal party that Emilee is so thankful for.
Groomsman
Nicholas Collins is Charlie’s closest cousin and a dear friend. Although they were not close as children because of geography, Nicholas and Charlie bonded as they entered adulthood together. They discovered they could talk for hours about anything from politics to philosophy without boring each other or feeling unheard (not an easy task). They also found they share a passion for the creative process: Charlie, a writer, and Nicholas, a student of film and theater. Always one to put his money where his heart is, Nicholas graduated with a degree in film and theater from Trinity College in Philadelphia and is currently working in Los Angeles managing film productions. Of all their commonalities, however, their shared love of family and desire to support one another joins them closest. Nicholas is certainly the most earnest, true man you will ever meet and Emilee and Charlie are honored to have him stand by their side come August 23rd, 2025.
