After spending what felt like forever in a long distance relationship, COVID flipped the script on us and allowed us to be in the same place at the same time. Lauren went fully remote and Emil stopped traveling (at the time). Gone were the days of Lauren catching the afternoon flight to Dallas on a Friday and turning back around on the first flight Monday morning. If there was a long weekend, we were probably somewhere else that was an equally short distance from SFO and DFW - Mexico has always been a favorite. We first visited this property in 2021. Emil proposed on our first night, and we've been finding reasons to return ever since! It's where the jungle meets the sea, and the perfect place to share our most important moment with all of you.
