Lodging & Transport
The roads around Sylvanside Farm are a little twisty. We recommend staying close to the venue, so that the end-of-night drive is a little safer. Also please note that we have been told that it is hard to get Uber/Lyft to pick up at Sylvanside Farm (even if you're able to secure a drop off), so consider renting a car or stay tuned for possible group transport options. We're currently looking into group transport--check back by June 30th for an update if you're interested!

SpringHill Suites Ashburn Dulles North
We have a hotel block reserved with this hotel. It's located between the Welcome Picnic location and the Wedding Venue, and a 30 min drive from each. ~ Click "View" below for a link to the hotel block. ~

Airbnbs
There are a few Airbnbs within a 5 min drive Sylvanside. These are a 50 min drive to the Welcome Picnic, however. Here's a list of a few we saw that were available as of 5/1/25 :)
Flight
Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA)
This is a great option for folks who are interested in spending time in DC. Located directly outside of the city, Reagan Airport/DCA is connected to the DC subway (the "Metro") Blue & Yellow lines, with approximately a 30 minute ride to downtown DC. Rental cars are available at or near the airport, with shuttle transportation. Reagan Airport is approximately a 1-hour drive to the wedding venue, Sylvanside Farm.
Flight
Dulles International Airport (IAD)
Dulles is also accessible to DC through the Silver Line on the Metro, but it is farther out than Reagan if you are trying to get into the city (approximately a 1 hour metro ride). However, Dulles may offer more economical flights than flying into Reagan. Rental cars available at the airport. Dulles Airport is a 35-min drive to the wedding venue, Sylvanside Farm.
Flight
Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI)
The least convenient airport if you are looking to spend time in DC. If you are interested in visiting Baltimore, we recommend taking the Light RailLink at the BWI airport rail station and ride northbound to downtown Baltimore ($2). To access DC, take the MARC train from BWI airport rail station to DC's Union Station (~$10; 40 min ride). Rental cars available. BWI is a 1.5-hour drive to the wedding venue, Sylvanside Farm.
Train
DC Union Station
Amtrak is a good option for getting to DC by train. For the lowest fares, we recommend buying tickets well in advance, and sorting prices low-to-high; Amtrak sometimes hides its best deals! Union Station is located in Downtown DC near the monuments, and is on the Red line of the Metro. We've never rented cars here, but there are a number of companies with counters inside the station. It appears Hertz has its garage connected to Union Station; other companies may have their car pick up elsewhere.
