FAQs

The Wedding Website of Emelie Stewart and Daniel Saylor
"Mom, Dad, I have a question..."
Question

How late can I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 1st.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Light refreshments will begin at 4:00 in the afternoon, with the ceremony starting at 4:30.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Please wear semi-formal attire. We also kindly request that guests avoid wearing large amounts of black.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately we have limited space and cannot accommodate extra guests that were not formally invited. If you are entitled to a +1, the option will be available when you RSVP.

Question

Are my kids welcome?

Answer

We have a limited guest list and can only accommodate individuals who are formally invited. We largely are not allowing children. Thank you for understanding.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, the ceremony and reception venue have a dedicated lot with free parking for our guests. We would encourage carpooling to allow you to take advantage of our reception's open bar, but there will be a spot for everyone who wants to drive.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There is currently no transportation offered. We recommend carpooling for those planning on taking advantage of the open bar. If this changes, we will notify guests.

Question

Is the wedding outdoors or indoors?

Answer

While the ceremony and cocktail hour are planned to happen outside in the venue's gardens, we have an inside option available in the event of rain. Both the outside and inside portions of the venue have stairs that may need to be traversed. For our guests who have a hard time getting around, we will have a golf-cart available for taxi services.

Question

Is it ok to take pictures with our phones during the ceremony?

Answer

We have hired a professional photographer, and therefore ask that no photos be taken during the ceremony.
