FAQs

The Wedding Website of Emelia Barrick and Evan Zupan
We know the feeling of trying to plan for an outing and not having any information. We hope the following FAQs will put your minds at ease and answer your burning questions. If you have any further questions, please feel free to text/call one of us!
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by November 15, 2022 so we are able to purchase adequate food and beverage for the reception.

Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be occurring indoors at Fairlane Station. There is a partially covered outdoor patio area that guests are welcome to go out on but it will not be utilized as a main event space.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Public parking is available near the venue. Street parking is available on Emma Avenue and Graham Street with no signage and no meters. There is also the North Star Plumbing lot available. The small lot on the west and southwest side of the venue will be reserved for the bridal party and immediate family.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive no later than 6 pm as the ceremony will start promptly as scheduled.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This just means we are asking that all phones and devices be put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony. Why? Well, we've hired a professional team to capture some of the most important moments of our lives and we'd hate to have a well-meaning person's phone/device blocking that moment for them to capture. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you want! And we promise to share the ceremony photos as soon as we get them.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love you and your kiddos, please leave them at home so we are all able celebrate in true fashion. You will most likely see Emelia’s youngest siblings and Evan’s niece for the ceremony and beginning of the reception, but they will be leaving before the party really gets started.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We want you to feel comfortable while you celebrate with us. But we would appreciate smart casual attire. Think what you might wear on a first date to a nice-ish restaurant. Also please avoid any colors that are traditionally reserved for the bride such as white, cream, and ivory.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

While we are registered for a handful of things, we would really love to go on an amazing honeymoon. Please consider contributing to the Honeymoon fund on our registry or contributing digitally via CashApp $EmeliaandEvan

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Our dinner will include both vegetarian and meat options. Emelia has a tree nut allergy so those will not be present in any food items. If you have any other food allergies, special diets, or sensitivities, please reach out to Emelia.

Question

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no" so we can plan accordingly.
