It all started on a little dating app when we matched on Halloween 2019. We got our first date scheduled for coffee at Kennedy Coffee that weekend. We sat and talked for about three hours before Emelia had to leave for other plans. The following dates solidified our want to be together exclusively. We’ve been through a global pandemic, job changes, life changes, and so much more in our time together. Evan decided to take it to the next phase on our trip to Chicago in late October 2021. We were on a walk in Lincoln Park near the Lake Michigan beach when we sat down on a bench to relax and chat. He got down on one knee and Emelia asked if he was serious! What a way to finish our vacation. We will have been together a little over 3 years when we get married!
