The Hubers’ home even became a second home for Emmy thanks to their open-door policy. From putting on church plays to their most legendary prank—convincing Kat’s younger brother that Emmy was a boy named Kyle who lived in Kat’s closet, complete with a duct-tape and Barbie-hair wig—their friendship has always been filled with creativity, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime.

Emmy and Hillary first met years ago at the Acorn Art Gallery in Marblehead and instantly became fast friends. They grew up side by side, supporting each other through life’s biggest and most exciting milestones. When Chris decided it was time to propose, he turned to Hillary to help plan the perfect moment. Behind the scenes, she made sure Emmy, who had no idea what was coming, felt her best and had plenty of stylish outfits for the trip. She even gifted Emmy the white outfit she ultimately wore for the proposal, casually suggesting that “white always looks great on vacation.” Now a devoted wife and mother, Hillary has remained one of Emmy’s closest confidants through every chapter of life. Beyond their deep friendship, Emmy and Hillary share a love for crafting and their signature “neck walks,” a tradition they treasure. In 2024, Emmy was a proud bridesmaid in Hillary’s wedding, and now Hillary is more than honored to support Emmy in the same way. Their bond is and always has been a true sisterhood.
