Things To Do

If you're looking for something to do before, between, or after our wedding festivities, these are some of our favorite places to eat, drink, visit, and shop.

174 Buffalo

174 Buffalo Street, Hamburg, NY 14075

This is our favorite restaurant -- no contest. It's also where we went for dinner right before Vinny proposed. Cute little front patio area and some of the best food and cocktails we've had. The Crispy Deviled Eggs and the Burnt Ends are a *must*.

Hamburg Brewing Company

6553 Boston State Road, Hamburg, NY 14075

Great beers, ciders, food, and atmosphere. The patio area is scenic and gorgeous. Casual vibe, no table service, and perfect for a drink and quick bite to eat. Also amazing for Sunday brunch -- get a Mega Mosa.

Johnson’s Landing

4040 Lake Shore Road, Hamburg, NY 14075

Awesome views of the lake with 3 floors to enjoy including their rooftop patio bar. There's a self-pour tap wall and lots of seats around the bar. The menu is great as well!

Molly + Kate

35 Main Street, Hamburg, NY 14075

Trendy boutique shop in the village of Hamburg with apparel, jewelry, home decor, and more. The team is the nicest! Stop in if you need a last-minute outfit or accessory for the weekend.

The Ridge West Seneca

555 Orchard Park Road, West Seneca, NY 14224

Perfect place to stop between the ceremony and reception with a self-serve tap room, awesome menu, and outdoor space. It's also where our after party will be following the reception!

Fattey Beer Co. Orchard Park

4226 North Buffalo Street, Orchard Park, NY 14127

Stop here for a beer, especially if you like unique craft brews. It also happens to be where Vinny and I met. Even though Vinny and I both bartend here occasionally, you won't find us behind the bar during our wedding weekend. There are other Fattey Beer locations in Hamburg and Buffalo if either are closer to where you're staying.

Chestnut Ridge Park

6121 Chestnut Ridge Road, Orchard Park, NY 14127

This is the spot if you're looking for a scenic hiking area. The foliage should be just starting to change too. Make sure to check out the area behind the pavilion building for an elevated view of the city of Buffalo.

Mulberry Italian Ristorante

64 Jackson Avenue, Lackawanna, NY 14218

Incredible Italian food and a Buffalo staple restaurant. Reservations are a little hard to come by, but worth it if you want a classically prepared hearty meal.

Charlie's Boat Yard

1111 Fuhrmann Boulevard, Buffalo, NY 14203

Perfect spot on the lake at the Small Boat Harbor. Good food & drinks, a patio that overlooks the marina, an ice cream stand, and a beautiful walking area along the water.

Canalside

44 Prime Street, Buffalo, NY 14202

Perfect outdoor spot on the Buffalo Waterfront to take in the sites at the Navel Park, grab some food, go kayaking, and more. If you're joining us from out of town, this really is worth checking out!

Buffalo RiverWorks

359 Ganson Street, Buffalo, NY 14203

Massive waterfront complex with food & drinks, an Adventure Park, hockey rinks, and lots of patio space overlooking the canal. On the weekends, this is a hot spot for boaters.
