Is there a dress code?

Answer

We love a dramatic statement and we would love for our wedding to reflect that! Officially, our dress code is anywhere from ‘Cocktail’ to ‘Formal.’ Unofficially, it’s ‘Jewel Tones, Sparkle, and Drama’. No pressure! A black gown or suit meets that criteria. But the sky is the limit! Have fun, dress up, sequins, glitter, velvet… feathers, you name it! Take this as an opportunity to get as glam as your heart desires. Feel free to use the image above as a “mood board” for inspiration.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes. Absolutely. Prepare yourself and plan your safe trip home accordingly!

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love all of our friends’ and families’ young ones, our wedding will be an opportunity for you to have a grown-up evening away from the kiddos. So please prepare to leave the cuties at home!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Basically, no, you can’t bring a random from Tinder that you met 48 hours ago. However, if you have a special someone that we don’t know about (oooooh….) who you would like to bring with you that we haven’t included on your invite, reach out to us.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We are going to leave accommodations up to the individual so you can find lodging that suits your needs and budget. Since travel to the venue will not be provided, we recommend that you stay somewhere near the venue, Magnolia Gardens on Main, so you can Uber or Lyft. Luckily, our venue is very centrally located and hotels and Airbnbs at all price points are available nearby.

Transportation and Parking?

Answer

Transportation to and from the venue isn’t being provided, but luckily our venue is located very centrally and there are hotels and Airbnbs at any price point within a Uber or Lyft-able distance from the venue. We recommend this option so that you can safely take advantage of that open bar with us! That being said, there is plenty of parking available at the venue.

Indoor or Outdoor?

Answer

Both! Our ceremony will be outdoor in early December in Texas. Which means it could be a lovely 75 degrees, very chilly, or anywhere in between. Please bring a coat, just in case. The remainder of the evening will be primarily indoors, but there will be spaces to lounge outside throughout the night, if the weather allows.

When should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP by October 1, 2022. This can be done under the “RSVP” tab of this website and there you can tell us specifically which invited members of your party will be attending, as well as any dietary restrictions or preferences that you have.

Answer

Instead of a traditional registry (we already have too much ‘stuff’, to be honest), we would love if you contributed to our European Honeymoon Fund, if you are willing and able! This can be found under the Registry tab.
