Ashley and Elyssa met in 2013 when they were working together in Chicago. They became quick friends since they had similar interest and personalities. They spent many nights out together and were inseparable. Even after Ashley moved to LA in 2014 they made and effort to visit each other and stay close. When Elyssa and James moved to New York in 2017 Ashley was the first person to visit them! Ashley traveled to New York a lot for work so they were able to see other every few months and always had the best time! In 2019 this dynamic duo was finally in the same state again! When Elyssa and James moved to San Francisco they visited Ashley in LA to celebrate Elyssa’s 30th birthday! Since then they have made numerous trips to see each other and love spending time together on the west coast!

Cousin of the Bride! April and Elyssa have been close since birth. April is one year younger and they both grew up in Highland Park. They both fell in love with dance at a young age and went on to study dance in college. They attended the same high school together where they both were involved in many dance programs. April and Elyssa try to spend together whenever they can. April was one of the first people to visit Elyssa & James when they moved to New York.

Melissa and Elyssa met while working in New York in 2017. They had an instant connection both being Capricorn’s from Chicago and attending the same University (University of Illinois Champaign Urbana). They had so much in common that they started to call each other “TWIN”. They spent lots of time exploring the city together and occasionally would show up in the same outfit!

Cousin of the Bride! Ashley and Elyssa did not grown up in the same town so they were always super excited to see each other when their families got together for the holidays. As they got older they got to spend more time together when Ashley moved to Chicago for school. Once Elyssa moved to New York Ashley would visit her regularly and they would always have so much fun together. Ashley also traveled to San Francisco frequently for work so when Elyssa moved there they would always make sure to grab dinner and catch up.

Cousin of the Bride! Jasmine is Ashley’s younger sister so she also did not grow up in the same town as Elyssa but the two still remained very close and loved seeing each other during the holidays. Jasmine also moved to Chicago for work so they got to spend more time together before Elyssa moved to New York. One of their fondest memories was when they took a trip to Cuba with their grandparents, James and Elyssa’s mother in 2017.

Brother of the Bride! Brandon is Elyssa’s younger brother! Even though they have a large age gap they enjoy spending time together. Elyssa has enjoyed watching Brandon grow into the young man he is today. Elyssa and James love when Brandon visits them and have many great memories from his trips to New York and San Francisco!
